Division of Labor Relations Finds in Favor of Social Workers

Brothers and sisters,

Last night, we received the decision of the Hearing Officer at the Division of Labor Relations regarding our charges about the ICPM.

In short, we won. While we still have to process the findings of the hearing officer, they found “that the employer violated the law.”

The hearing officer issued some orders to remedy the situation, and we will have to see how the agency addresses those orders. Attached is: The Notice to Employees DCF Ruling that DCF was ordered to post.

We will keep you posted as to how this ruling will play itself out.
